FAQs
What is furikake?
Furikake is a Japanese everyday seasoning, traditionally sprinkled over rice. Seisomi's blends are made for the meals people eat most, so they work just as well on eggs, vegetables, grains, and proteins, from grilled meats to tinned fish.
How is Seisomi different?
We leave out cane sugar, MSG, corn syrup, preservatives, and unnecessary fillers, all common in many store-bought furikake brands. Every ingredient in Seisomi earns its place through thoughtful sourcing, exceptional flavor, and versatility — never novelty.
How spicy is Slightly Spicy?
Just a bit. Mild gochugaru and smoked paprika give it savory depth and a lingering warmth that builds slowly without overwhelming a dish.
How do I use it?
Sprinkle it on anything that needs flavor: eggs, vegetables, rice and other grains, grilled meats, or tinned fish. Check the recipes page on our website and social channels for other ideas.
